Do You Want to Lose Weight Once and For All? The Connection Between the Unconscious Mind and Weight

The problem for human beings is not that we set our goals too high and don’t reach them, but rather we set our goals too low and we do reach them. We are not afraid of our weakness, rather we are afraid of our greatest strength. —Marianne Williamson, author of A Return to Love

What you believe is what you think, what you think is what you expect, what you expect influences the way you feel, and the way you feel is the way you vibrate, and the way you vibrate is the way you attract.

I believe that belief is the foundation of everything we experience. We do not experience life as it is and do not experience ourselves as we are or others as they are. Rather, we experience life through our subjective perceptions; our perceptions of all that exists are mediated by our beliefs.

What we’ve experienced in the past is a reflection of past beliefs, not necessarily an indication of what will occur in the future. Each experience we have causes us to believe certain things about ourselves or the world around us. Since our perception of reality is directly influenced by our beliefs, wouldn’t it be beneficial for us to identify and eliminate those beliefs that hinder us from achieving our goals/desires, and an overall sense of well being? I believe that such hindering beliefs can be the most destructive forces against self-improvement.

Limiting beliefs are blockages created and instituted by, and for, the person who possesses them. Sometimes they are developed subconsciously to prevent us from being hurt, but this constant inner conflict prevents us from what we want to become. Before we overcome internal conflicts, we need to consciously decide that life the way we’ve been living it is no longer acceptable, and nothing is really going to change for us. Whether it’s about relationships or weight issues, if we want things to be different than they are, we must overcome our inner conflicts. There comes a point when we realize that the level of pain that we’ve been experiencing is too great, and we deliberately decide to start walking down a new road. For example, you might have decided to lose weight many times and might have had a bit of success here and there, but ended up gaining more weight. I believe that this inner conflict is nothing except fear and stress. When there are no effective strategies to face the fear and overcome it, the fear causes us to fail. Have you ever wondered why?

You might be able to change your conscious thinking on your own, but you alone cannot change your unconscious mind. And unless your unconscious mind is enrolled in your weight-loss efforts, it will find a way to reconstitute the excess weight regardless of what you do. The holistic healing of any condition involves applying internal, as well as external, powers, and compulsive overeating is no different.

In my practice, I help clients root out their fear and replace it with the grace of peace, and this often leads to measurable results. It might seem odd to consider that the inner conflict, or fear, is the source of weight problem but it is indeed the reality. As your mind is trained to let go of its fears and inner conflicts, your body will let go of its excess pounds.

I can help you to effortlessly reprogram your unconscious, and free your body from the inner push and pull that has exhausted your mind. This will transform your inner conflict and fear, to peace and love. As a result, you get rid of the bodily effects and simply start losing weight.

This is not about your relationship with food; it is about your relationship with love; love is your true healer and miracles happen in the process of love. That’s right, a miracle is simply a shift in perception… a shift from hate, or anger, to love… a shift from fear to faith… a shift from doubt, or despair, to hope.

According to the classic spiritual book, A Course in Miracles, “A miracle is nothing more than a change in perception.” I love this definition because it is empowering and that’s my mission in my practice. My pledge to my clients is that I will help them to become who they want to be, go to where they want to be in their life, achieve their dreams, overcome their inner conflicts in any aspect of their life, including weight problems, once for all, and find the job and relationship they have always wanted.

Live your dream with the love and abundance that you always wished for! Set the bar a little higher and step into your greatest potential!
